QDEP is excited to announce that we will be starting up the Leadership Development Program once again in October!

This is the 4th cohort of the program where we focus on teaching leadership based skills for trans, queer cis-women, and gender non-confirming immigrants to organize within their respective communities. This is a great opportunity for trans and queer immigrants to learn about ways they can use their voice to speak out against injustices they’ve and their communities have endured.

This program reviews some of the political context in the United States for folks to better understand the situation and the long struggle that has been undergoing in the LGBTQ+ immigrant community.

The program will run for 6 months where we will meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month. This means there will be a total of 6 workshops that typically run all day. Lunch and metrocards will be provided at each session.
